The San Pedro Service Center was established in 1976. The programs and services help to support residents in the San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, Lomita and Long Beach communities. It is a multipurpose facility designed to offer a wide range of services and social activities providing opportunities for daily learning, skills enhancement, community engagement, socialization, and healthy living for residents of all ages.

Utility Assistance | Center assists eligible individuals and families submit their utility bills (SoCal and SCE). Reviews, prepares and submits utility bill submissions in the system. |
Farmer’s Market Voucher | Seniors receive vouchers to use at farmer’s markets. |
Meeting Room Reservations | Centers have meeting rooms available for reservation by organizations seeking to provide a service to the community. |
LA Found Bracelet Distribution Site | For Alzeihmers and Dementia Participants – Centers is a distribution site for LA Found Bracelets. |
Adult Protective Service Referrals | Center staff are able to submit referrals for elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect on behalf of concerned community members. |
Cooling Center | If there is excessive high temperature, centers are activated as Cooling centers to provide relief from extreme heat conditions. The goal is to offer a safe, cool environment for those who might be at risk of heat-related illnesses. |
