COMMISSIONS

The LA County Aging & Disabilities is proud to house two commissions:

The Commission for Older Adults
The Commission on Disabilities

Both Commissions are charged with advising the Board of Supervisors, County departments, and other stakeholder groups to promote equity, inclusion, and independence for the populations they serve.

LACCOA

The LA County Commission for Older Adults (LACCOA) advocates, advises, and makes recommendations regarding the needs, health, well-being, and rights of older adults in the County age 60 and older.

LACCOD

The LA County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD) advises on issues related to health, employment, education, transportation, access, and recreation affecting the lives of people with disabilities.

Community Services Resource Corporation (CSRC)

The purpose of the CSRC is to raise funds that create programs and initiate collaborative ventures to improve the services provided by Department of Aging & Disabilities and other County Departments. Funds raised enhance the lives of Los Angeles County families and older adults.
