The L.A. Found Taskforce meets virtually monthly to discuss implementation efforts of the 17 strategies approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in the Bringing our Loved Ones Home (BOLOH) report.
The goal of the taskforce is to support countywide efforts, led by the Aging & Disabilities Department, to assist individuals, families and caregivers impacted by Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism, and other cognitive impairments.
Taskforce members include subject matter experts in the field of Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism. Meetings are led by the Fourth Supervisorial District and the Aging & Disabilities Department. Agencies participating in the taskforce include the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, community advocates and various County Departments, including the Department of Mental Health, Public Health, Public Social Services, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s, and other law enforcement jurisdictions.
