The Commissioners on Disabilities serve as advocates for equity, inclusion, and independence within the community they represent. Tasked with advising the Board of Supervisors, County departments, and other stakeholder groups, their primary goal is to ensure that the needs and rights of individuals with disabilities are acknowledged and supported.

The Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD) meets every third Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held at 510 S. Vermont Avenue, Terrace Level (9th Floor), Los Angeles, California 90020. The public is welcome to attend. If you need a disability-related modification or accommodation to participate in the public meeting, please contact LACCOD at (800) 683-6034 at least 72 hours prior before the scheduled meeting so that we may make every reasonable effort to accommodate you.
