The Abilities Expo Los Angeles, one of the nation’s largest events showcasing disability products, services, and community resources, will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center from March 27–29, 2026.
The free three-day event brings together people with disabilities, family members, caregivers, veterans, older adults, and professionals to explore new technologies, attend educational workshops, and connect with organizations working to advance accessibility and independence.
Attendees can experience a wide range of activities and demonstrations, from adaptive sports and accessible recreation to presentations from disability advocates and innovators. This year’s expo takes place during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and strengthening support for individuals living with cerebral palsy. Events like the Abilities Expo provide valuable opportunities for residents to learn about resources, connect with advocates, and discover innovations that support independence and community participation.
The Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) (Booth 559) and the Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD) (Booth 561) will host side-by-side booths on the expo floor. LACCOD plays an important advisory role in elevating disability issues and promoting accessibility across the County. Visitors are encouraged to stop by to learn more about County programs, services, and initiatives that support older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers throughout Los Angeles County.
