USC’s HPRI Symposium on Older Adult Homelessness

Older adults who experience, or are at risk of, homelessness are a uniquely vulnerable population. Older adults are more likely than any other age group to chronically experience homelessness. And Black and Latino older adults are much more likely than older white adults to experience homelessness.

On June 27, 2023, Aging & Disabilities Director Dr. Laura Trejo spoke at USC’s Homelessness Policy Research Institute’s (HPRI) Symposium on Older Adult Homelessness. She highlighted how we can direct resources to end homelessness among older adults, and the kinds of strategies we can use to meet the needs of an aging population.
