Public Safety Resources
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Mental Evaluation Team (MET) is one of the largest and well know Co Response teams in the world. Each MET member receives over 800hrs of mental health training and is partnered with a licensed Department of Mental Health clinician. MET responds to crisis calls for service to assist LASD stations and local police departments. MET also provides specialized training such as law enforcement in Mental Health, De-escalation, and Strategic Communication.
