Commissioner Robert Boller is the Director of Programs at Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that delivers food to critically ill residents of Los Angeles County that are unable to shop or cook for themselves. He is also a member of Hunger Action Los Angeles (HALA) and current chair of the Los Angeles County Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP). Commissioner Boller joined LACCOA in February 2016.
Commissioner Barbara Meltzer is a native New Yorker. Commissioner Barbara Meltzer worked on the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson prior to becoming NBC-TV’s Director of Network Creative Services. Following that, she founded Barbara Meltzer & Associates Public Relations and Marketing Agency. In addition to her service on LACCOA, Commissioner Meltzer serves on the West Hollywood Human Services Commission and the Friends of the West Hollywood Library Board. Commissioner Meltzer is a member of the American Society on Aging’s Ageism and Culture Advisory Council whose most recent accomplishment was the creation of Ageism Awareness Day, which is held each year on October 7th. Commissioner Meltzer was recently honored by Congressman Adam Schiff as a 30th Congressional District 2023 Woman of the Year. She currently chairs LACCOA’s Issues and Education Committee and serves as District 3’s Lead Commissioner. Commissioner Meltzer was appointed to LACCOA in 2007.

Commissioner Kiera Pollock is the Director of Senior Services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. She oversees residential and non-residential social services and activities for more than 5,000 older adults as well as Triangle Square, the nation’s first affordable housing complex for LGBT older adults. She holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from Fordham University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York and an Associate Social Worker (ASW) in California. Commissioner Pollock joined LACCOA in October 2018.
Commissioner Sue Sexton is the Director of Development & Marketing for ONEgeneration, an intergenerational focused nonprofit serving older adults, children, and their families. She has been a community organizer for over 25 years and has served on the following: Brandman Center for Senior Care’s Participant Advisory Committee, Sherman Oaks-Encino Chamber of Commerce’s Health & Wellness Committee, Alzheimer’s Association California Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Christopher Street West – LA Pride Board, City of West Hollywood’s Lesbian & Gay Advisory Board, and ERSOL (End Rape Statute of Limitations) Committee. She is a recipient of the City of West Hollywood’s Women in Leadership Award. Commissioner Sexton joined LACCOA in 2024.
