Building a Better Connection for Older Adults (BBCOA)

A Program that bridges the digital divide and addresses social isolation for older adults!

The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is providing 250 iPads with Internet service to qualifying older adults (60+) and adults (18+) with disabilities on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To qualify for a pre-screening, an older adult or an adult with a disability must:

1. Be a resident of Los Angeles County in one of the following communities: East Los Angeles, Antelope Valley, East Rancho Dominguez, or Willowbrook, CA.

2. Be 60 years and older, or 18 and older with a disability.

3. Agree to participate and complete an 8-week training course.

4. Agree to sign an “Acknowledgement of Receipt and Release of Liability” with AD.
