Disability Services - 2025 Strategic Plan Survey

L.A. County wants to hear from YOU! Help shape the future of disability services. Take our survey and let your voice be heard bit.ly/LACDisabilitiesSurvey text with an image of a person taking the survey on a computer

Campaign Overview

The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities across the County.

To guide the future of disability services, AD is developing a five-year strategic plan in partnership with the Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD), whose insights and leadership are central to shaping the plan. Public Consulting Group (PCG) has been contracted to support this effort.

This plan will serve as a comprehensive, data-driven roadmap to enhance accessibility, promote inclusion, and strengthen services for individuals with disabilities. In partnership with community organizations and stakeholders, the Department is identifying service gaps, areas for improvement, and specific action steps to make meaningful changes over the next five years.

A key part of this effort is hearing directly from those who are part of the L.A. County disability services network. That includes people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, advocates, and service providers. We’ve created multiple ways to gather input, including an online survey and a series of focus groups throughout the County. These opportunities are designed to capture real experiences and insights about what’s working—and what needs to improve.

The feedback from these activities, along with our service assessment, will shape the strategic plan. This plan will help build a more inclusive, accessible, and collaborative disability services network for the entire Los Angeles County region.

Take the Survey

Your voice matters. Help shape the future of disability services in Los Angeles County by sharing your experiences and insights. The survey is available in 14 languages and will remain open through August 31, 2025.

It takes about 15 minutes and is open to people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and service providers.

Know someone who should weigh in? Please share the survey with others in your network—every perspective helps build a stronger, more inclusive system of support.
