Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD) At its June 18, 2025, General Meeting, the Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities (LACCOD) held its annual elections for the 2025–2026 officer positions. The following Commissioners were elected to serve as officers:

• Carlos Benavides, President (4th District)
• Lourdes Caracoza, First Vice President (1st District)
• Ramon Pizarro, Second Vice President (4th District)
• Peggie Reyna, Treasurer (1st District)

These officers will serve a one-year term from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

Following the elections, the Installation of Officers Ceremony took place during LACCOD’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Gina Ender, representative from the Fifth District of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, administered the oath of office. Dr. Laura Trejo, Director of the Aging & Disabilities Department, was also in attendance to witness the swearing-in ceremony.
The Aging & Disabilities Department congratulates the incoming officers and looks forward to their continued leadership in advancing equity, accessibility, and inclusion for all individuals with disabilities across Los Angeles County.
