Los Angeles County has launched a new online resource hub (lacounty.gov/impacts) to help residents stay informed about changes affecting health care, food assistance, and other public support programs across County departments.
The new hub serves as a central place for residents to find reliable, up-to-date information about federal and state policy changes, budget impacts, and emergencies that may affect services and benefits.
The website includes updates on programs such as Medi-Cal, CalFresh, services for older adults and people with disabilities, housing and homelessness services, and other elements of the County’s health and social safety net. Residents can also find information about eligibility changes, deadlines, and where to get help.
The hub is part of a coordinated Countywide communications effort directed by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to ensure residents receive clear, culturally and linguistically appropriate information during the time of significant policy and funding changes.
Multiple Los Angeles County departments and agencies contributed to the effort, which was coordinated by the Chief Executive Office (CEO), including the Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) and other health and social service partners.
Two new 30– and 60-second public service announcements help raise awareness of the resource hub and encourage residents to visit the site for the latest updates, information, and support resources.
